Hi, I'm Lara, a qualified counsellor, mum of two, and the person behind Beyond the Tide. My passion for supporting others comes from both my professional training and my own lived experiences.

 

Having navigated the emotional ups and downs of infertility, IVF, pregnancy and the transition into motherhood, I understand that some of life's most meaningful experiences can also be the most challenging. Motherhood can bring immense love and joy, but it can also come with unexpected emotions, changes in identity and moments of feeling overwhelmed or lost.

These experiences have shaped my passion for supporting women through fertility challenges, motherhood, postpartum adjustments and the many transitions life brings.

Alongside this, my professional experience includes supporting children and adolescents through emotional, social and personal challenges.

My approach to counselling is warm, compassionate and down-to-earth. I believe in creating a space where you can show up exactly as you are, feel genuinely heard and explore whatever life is bringing your way, without judgement.
